I stayed with my cousins. They are amazing as friends and family to me. They took me to Yellowstone. I hadn't been there since I was ten. We saw so many things to stop for that we only got as far as Old Faithful! I stole these pictures from my cousin. I love it that she likes taking pictures about as much as I do.

It snowed while we were there! I have mixed emotions about that. It was only September first!
When I was a kid visiting Yellowstone, I don't remember seeing ANY animals. But this time we saw so many. It is strange to me that they are used to people, and they'll get this close:

Aria calls the Bison "Oxygens." I love it. When kids call things by the wrong name, I think it is so funny and enjoyable that I don't like to correct them! My apologies to their parents!

I love seeing my cutie nephew. I love his facial expressions. He is amazing. I love all his new sort-of-words.

I used to watch Pride and Prejudice A LOT. This summer, I have been so occupied with other things in my life that I couldn't. Last night, I watched the first hour of it for the first time since April.

I was surprised that it seemed new again, to some degree. I had become accustomed to Mrs. Bennett over time. The excruciatingly embarassing moments her actions create didn't make me uncomfortable anymore. But last night, she terrified me! I wanted to fast-forward.
The end.

I experienced Yellowstone for the first time on Tuesday. I think I saw every imaginable animal but a bear. My instructor was annoyed with people stopping for them or driving slow. He would pass the cars and honk the horn at the Bison so they'd get off the road.
At the top of the Bear Tooth mountains that afternoon, we made our Geologic observations while trudging through snow. Old man winter, do your worst -for I have a Brunton's compass and a rock hammer. I do not fear you!
