Patchwork ---or--- Some Things Just Don't Go Together

I love small parcels. I love sending them even more than recieving them.

I love my ACE comb. If anything ever happens to it, I will seek out another of the same brand. Never before did I have combs that didn't rip my hair.

I went to a movie Friday. The theatre smelled disgustingly like a catbox. I think it was the seats.

On the subject of quilted two-ply: one-ply bespeaks destitution and disaster circumstances.

Mexican food makes me a little homesick these days. I love every Mexican place I've been to recently. Either their food IS really good, or I've been living in the north for way too long. It's probably the latter, because when I first came, it was hard to find edible salsa.

I like to buy locally, but not necessarily to support local economy. I just don't like to wait on shipments.

In one day, in two different meetings I attended at the university, two different speakers' cell phones rang during their talks, and they both stopped to answer them.

I don't buy glass very often, but my favorite purchases to make are glass objects. They are so heavy, smooth, and seem flawless.

I like the music of Bobby Vinton (1960's love songs.) Lisa introduced me to it. But my car's sound system has serious bass, so Bobby Vinton sounds really odd in my car. It's even more strange at night with the synchronized blue flashing speakers. Some things just don't go together.
