Do you remember The Great Lettuce Shortage of '95 ?
I don't remember the real year, but in one day lettuce went up to about four dollars a head, if you could get it at all. It lasted a couple of weeks. I don't know why it even came to mind, or why I have even been pondering that such a little thing put such a big hitch in daily life.

I can't say I remember this one, but I do remember my 4th grade teacher saying Bill Clinton was creepy and she didn't want to vote for him. Are you in Rexburg on Thursday?
